Dear Optimizers,
Happy Tuesday! I have five things I want to share with you today, some are just for fun but some of these have been a major focal point for me recently.
I believe there are real ways we can save ourselves and what I mean by that is using our gifts and talents to elevate our health, expand our mindset, build our relationships, and achieve our goals.
That’s why I’m so excited about #3 because it’s a new way I’ve been able to put this idea into motion.
1. What I’ve been working on -
I wanted to tell you about a podcast episode that I’ve just put out. It is the 2nd part to my Head to Toe Routine for Optimal Health.
Check it out here if you're ready to transform your health in a way that feels manageable and realistic.
2. What I’m enjoying -
I know Halloween is around the corner so I wanted to share my favorite candy! I love the brand Unreal, they make so many different chocolate candies that are made with real ingredients and have less sugar than normal candy.
This is not sponsored but you can check them out here.
3. What I’m excited for -
I wanted to give you a chance to join the AMYMD Network because we are doing full on consults during the sessions and I think a lot of you would benefit from it.
Here’s a video featuring someone who did it and has some feedback.
4. What I’ve been researching -
I’d like to clarify the benefits of sauna therapy. There are numerous advantages to be gained from it, so consider incorporating sauna sessions twice a week. Here’s a quick cheat sheet.
6 BENEFITS of sauna therapy
-Burns calories
-Enhances insulin sensitivity
-Increases autophagy
-Increases brain-derived neurotrophic factor
-Increases resilience of cells to stressors
-Improves heart rate variability

5. What I’m doing weekly -
Lastly I wanted to tell you about the 4,3,2,1 in case you don't know.
4-3-2-1: 4 days a week walking, 3 days a week weight training, 2 hot therapy sessions a week, and 1 sprint session a week.
This week’s topic for the AMYMD Network is all about the gut-brain connection. Each session is a mix of live wellness coaching and a deep dive on my most requested topics.
I hope to see you this Thursday!
Remember, no one is coming to save you -- you have to save yourself!
Warmly,
Dr. Amy
