MEAL TIMING
I'M SO EFFING HUNGRY
"Why We Crave What We Crave and What To Do About It"
The importance of chrononutrition is making sure you eat in sync with your internal body clock.
Eating meals at irregular times can mess up your internal body clock and disrupt it, leading to weight gain and greater risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and obesity.
If you constantly have food at irregular times, it can throw your body into stress mode, causing it to secrete higher levels of cortisol. Soaring cortisol can then spike your insulin, which causes inflammation, and can affect your internal circadian rhythm.
For me, it is so important that you have a guide on meal timing and something you can follow or adapt to your own lifestyle. For that reason, I decided to provide you with a schedule you can download and follow. This schedule works for me and my lifestyle, but make sure to adjust it for you. Just remember to keep the bulk of your calories between 12:00PM - 5:00PM and to start your fast at least between 7:00PM - 8:00PM.
