So...to continue the conversation of supplements...which ones should you take? Well, it’s not a simple answer and not everyone needs supplements or the same ones. For example, the Balance + Restore supplement that I made has what most people need but not ALL. Learn to personalize best to you!
I do believe in…
Vitamin D, as most people are deficient in it so get your levels checked as well.
B vitamins, especially if you are plant-based, you need vitamin B12.
Omega-3 fatty acids are beneficial at weight loss, inflammation and brain health.
If you are fighting cravings, consider L-Glutamine or berberine, which help to lower blood sugar levels and help cravings.
Get more spice-based supplements, like turmeric mixed with black pepper and oil, ginger, cardamom, saffron and are easy to include and have many benefits. Magnesium may help you but check with your other medications
Always check with your doctor to ensure these are safe for you.
Your homework for today is to: Get blood work done to see vitamin D levels if you haven't already and get more spices into your diet!
