Day 4 of the 60 Day Ultimate Optimization Challenge

WELLLCOME TO DAY 4-- HOW DO YOU FEEL??? A funny thing happened when I introduced the idea of circadian fasting -- well not invented but reintroduced I guess-- I started to get more confidence in my abilities to create change. I heard from 1000s--not 100s- 1000s of people how just the first 3 changes I talked about -- changed their lives. Paying attention to your gut health, circadian rhythm and adding circadian fasting is transformative. I wish in retrospect -- I left out all the other stuff in my book “I’m So Effing Tired”. The reason is the concept I am talking to you about today is an advanced concept in medicine. Not everyone understands what this is. It’s the ENERGY TRIFECTA. But I have faith in you-- I think you can get it and put it to work!!

Continuing with our nutrition theme, we will be learning about: energy trifecta, its importance and how diet and nutrition affect it! What is your energy trifecta? It's the relationship between our hormones, immune system and gut. Keep them all balanced to boost energy! You can eat to help balance your energy trifecta by cutting out processed foods, reducing sugar intake, and eating 6-8 servings of vegetables a day. 


Additionally, eat when the sun is up and try to ease stress levels. Also, incorporate superfoods like blueberries, seeds, nuts, asparagus, yogurt, garlic, which are all high in vitamin and mineral contents, which help your body ward off diseases and keep you healthier and feeling more energetic.


Your homework for today is: Eat 6-8 servings of vegetables today!
