Day 39 of the 60 Day Ultimate Optimization Challenge
We are talking about the ideal week of exercise to get maximum results for your health. The secret to feeling amazing is to switch up the intensity of your exercises and try to walk for at least 10 minutes, if not more, every day. A tip is to take a work call outside or go to your backyard when your kids are playing and walk around. Get moving!
Daily walking, specifically nature walks, are a huge part of my life. I do it for at least 10 minutes every day, if not 45 minutes.
I do 3 HIIT workouts at least and yoga twice a week. I like to switch between low intensity, strength work and walking and then add in 3 sections of HIIT. If I can’t get into a HIIT class, then I’ll do 30 seconds of sprinting with one minute of walking. I try to take one day off as active recovery so I might play with my kids outside but I won’t do a structured workout.
I love working out and I get a lot of enjoyment from it. If you aren’t that person, your sample week might look different.
Your homework for today is: Plan your week of exercise out and stick to it. Try to incorporate different styles.
