Did you check yourself to see if you have any symptoms of thyroid disease? This is just good knowledge to have, even if you feel well and healthy. In order to optimize your body, you have to learn signs of common problems. Support your thyroid by improving your diet and lifestyle. I love using a few thyroid boosters personally, like ashwagandha. I cycle on and off of it but rely on my diet and lifestyle as the main ways to support thyroid. Make sure you are checking your vitamin D, as well as getting adequate selenium iodine and thinking about your diet.

Today is the last day for the second segment and we are addressing: Signs of metabolic syndrome.

What is a metabolic syndrome? Metabolic syndrome is a precursor of many diseases like diabetes, heart disease, cancer and even Alzheimer’s. It’s very evident in our modern culture. What are the signs? You can tell if you have metabolic syndrome if your blood sugar is elevated, your waist to hip ratio is elevated, your triglycerides are high or you have dark spots on your neck and armpits.

Your homework for today is: Check to ensure you don't have any of these symptoms.
