Day 12 of the 60 Day Ultimate Optimization Challenge

Welcome to Day #15 of the 60-Day Ultimate Optimization Challenge!

Hey hey! You have already finished two weeks!

To be honest when I work one on one with clients this is when I usually start to notice that they are seeing results. Of course everyone is different but it usually takes two weeks of hard work to start to notice change. One client I was working with that’s called her Melissa - noticed that she started to feel a little more energy, and her cravings were markedly less. She was feeling happier add starting to see that her clothes were fitting a little looser as well. For her, goals were increased energy, leaner body and improved mood. It wasn’t until another six weeks or so that she really saw marked results. So hang in there you’re doing great!

Today, we’re addressing a topic that everyone should be aware of: Heart rate variability. I’ll address the most basic questions about it, and if you want to know more, please feel free to reach out to me!

What is HRV? A measure of the variation in time between each heartbeat. This variation is controlled by the autonomic nervous system.

How to monitor HRV? There are many new ways including a very simple heart rate monitor with an app or devices like the Whoop band.

What’s the goal? The goal is to monitor your HRV for two weeks to see how you can improve your stress and recovery.

Your homework for today is: Using a monitor/app or device, track your HRV for two weeks.
